This vintage stoneware lamp with abstract-patterned shade pairs a softly curved base with a shade traced with white strokes. The drawing rises against a warm background and visually extends the ceramic form. The relationship between the two surfaces gives the piece a light, graphic presence.

We chose it to add a distinctive pattern without relying on strong colours. On a bedside or side table, it can accompany plain fabrics and small ceramic pieces, with an uncluttered wall behind to show the shade.
