This Søholm vintage ceramic wall light with radial relief has the presence of a small wall sculpture. Lines extend from the centre, alternating between light and dark areas to create a surface that catches the ambient light. The smooth rim frames the pattern and accentuates the depth of the relief.

Why we chose this piece

We chose it for the interest it brings to a wall even during the day. Above a low piece of furniture or in a corner of the living room, its circular shape softens an arrangement of straight lines. We like it alongside elm, linen and limewashed walls, where the ceramic texture can be appreciated without the need for many objects.

About Søholm

Founded in 1835 on the Danish island of Bornholm, Søholm produced both everyday objects and decorative ceramics. Ceramicists and designers who explored the possibilities of form and surface contributed to its history.
