Round grogged clay side table

This round grogged clay side table is shaped by hand and fired at high temperature. It measures 30 cm high and 39 cm wide and deep. It can be ordered in natural clay or with a glazed finish, two options that change the appearance of the surface without altering its form.

Why we chose this side table

We selected it for its clear geometry, softened by the traces of hand modelling. Its round footprint allows movement around a sofa and also makes it useful as a surface in a bedroom or hallway. The clay brings visual weight and contrasts with soft upholstery, wood, stone and natural fibres. Each piece has subtle variations inherent to the process.

About Marta Bonilla

Marta Bonilla designs and creates her pieces in her Barcelona studio. Working by hand, she allows the material to retain its natural character and the traces of the making process.
