Natural-finish stoneware sculptural vase

This natural-finish stoneware sculptural vase is shaped by hand using lightly grogged stoneware. It retains a natural exterior and has a glazed interior. Its upright silhouette measures 36 cm high, 20 cm wide and 5 cm deep, a particularly restrained depth that emphasises its graphic character.

Why we chose this vase

We were drawn to the tension between its strong frontal presence and surprisingly narrow profile. It can sit on a console or deep shelf, or be displayed as a sculptural piece with dried branches. The natural surface introduces texture alongside wood, mineral plaster and raw textiles, while the glaze protects the inner face of the piece.

About Marta Bonilla

Marta Bonilla designs and creates her pieces in her Barcelona studio. Working by hand, she allows the material to retain its natural character and the traces of the making process.
