Natural, indigo and ochre cotton placemats

These natural, indigo and ochre cotton placemats by Lorena Canals bring broad bands of colour and visible texture to the table. The shades meet gently, allowing the weave to remain a central part of the design. Fringed edges extend this informal character.

On a wooden table, they define each place setting while allowing the tabletop to remain visible. We like them with pale ceramic plates and natural napkins, or a touch of brown that echoes the warmth of the ochre.

For their balance of colour and restraint. The pattern adds movement without requiring special tableware and makes it easy to create a thoughtful setting with a few elements.

The La Merced model belongs to Casa Oaxaca by Lorena Canals. Its construction combines handweaving with RugCycled fibres and natural cotton.

AVAILABILITY AND SHIPPING TIME
This piece is prepared to order. We work with workshops and manufacturers who give each creation the time and care it deserves, avoiding unnecessary storage. Delivery takes a little longer, but is part of a more considered approach to design: choosing well, producing thoughtfully and creating objects intended to last. Care: wash separately at a maximum of 30 °C. Tumble dry at low temperature. Avoid continuous exposure to sunlight. Cut loose threads with scissors; do not pull them.
