This cream terracotta vase brings a pale volume to a console, shelf or side table. Its surface has enough presence to be displayed without flowers and can accompany a small selection of dried stems. The softness of its tone allows it to sit within a composition of wood, linen and darker ceramic pieces.

Why we chose this vase

We chose it for the relationship between its volume and the quietness of its finish. Compared with transparent vessels, it organises the composition through an opaque shape that catches the light. It works particularly well with clear space around it, as a counterpoint to stacked books or low objects that emphasise its silhouette.
