This irregular multicoloured wool and linen rug brings colour fields and curved lines together in a silhouette that can become the focus of a room. Aurora Lume creates a visible rhythm between pale surfaces, greens and earthy tones, connected by marks that recall a hand drawing. Artisan knotting and the texture of its fibres give depth to the meeting points between colours.

Why we chose this rug

We chose it as a piece that can organise a seating area from the floor upwards. Pair it with furniture with simple lines and keep part of the perimeter free so that its shape remains clear. A light coffee table and restrained upholstery allow colour into the room without multiplying patterns elsewhere in the arrangement.
