Elongated red clay sculptural vase

This elongated red clay sculptural vase is shaped by hand and low fired. The exterior retains the clay’s natural finish, while the interior is glazed. Its slim silhouette—21 × 8 × 5 cm—introduces a vertical line on smaller surfaces and can accompany fine dried branches.

Why we chose this vase

We value the contrast between its slender proportion and the chromatic depth of the red clay. It works on a shelf, side table or within a composition of lower pieces, particularly alongside dark wood, pale stone and raw textiles. Subtle modelling marks are part of the piece and keep its surface from appearing completely uniform.

About Marta Bonilla

Marta Bonilla designs and creates her pieces in her Barcelona studio. Working by hand, she allows the material to retain its natural character and the traces of the making process.
