This Chroma Quilt wool rug, designed by Urd Moll Gundermann for Linie Design, combines a warm central field with a border that clearly defines its edges. Ochre and Terracotta offer different combinations of contrasting borders while retaining a calm composition.

The linen warp allows the weave to remain visible and preserves the character of the natural fibres. Its flat surface works in a living room with wooden furniture or a light bedroom, where the rug's colour can become the starting point for the whole palette.

Why we chose this rug

We like the way it defines a space through colour without relying on a dominant pattern. We would pair it with natural linen, warm wood and matte ceramics, allowing small accents in the border to find an echo in cushions or artwork.
