Brown washed cotton basket

Description

This stone-washed cotton basket combines a flexible structure with an irregular and distinctly artisanal silhouette. The cotton rope, contrasting stitching, and tonal variations make the manufacturing process visible. Even empty, it retains a sculptural presence, far from the rigidity of a conventional container.

It can be used to store light blankets, magazines, toys, accessories, or small textiles. It works next to a sofa, under a console, in a bedroom, or inside an open shelf. The cotton pairs well with wood, stone, clay, linen, and the rugs from the same collection, and its texture softens shelves, floors, and corners with very straight lines. Differences in shape, tone, and stitching are characteristic of Lorena Canals' handmade work and are part of the identity of each unit.

Why we chose this basket

We chose it because it turns storage into a visible part of the decor. We like the relationship between a deliberately imperfect shape and the softness of washed cotton. It is a useful piece, easy to move, and with enough character to also function as an object, bringing order and texture without introducing a rigid or excessively heavy volume.
