Chunky ecru wool blanket

This chunky ecru wool blanket brings a pronounced textile surface to a pale palette. The thick weave creates shadows that remain visible even without a contrasting colour. On a sofa or at the foot of a bed, it can mark a resting area and relate to wood, natural linen and smoother upholstery.

Why we chose this blanket

We chose it for the presence of the weave and the way its ecru shade keeps the composition connected. A white bedspread provides a simpler background, while a knitted lumbar cushion repeats the texture on a smaller scale. Leaving some plain fabric visible around these pieces helps each surface retain its own character.
