This off-white cotton and wool textured lampshade works with light through a surface of ecru tones. The relief reveals small shifts of shadow and adds depth without a coloured pattern. Wood, ceramics and pale textiles give its simple volume a closely related material setting.

Why we chose this lampshade

We chose it to introduce texture at the light source. A crochet cushion or chunky blanket repeats the idea of relief elsewhere in the room. Some plain surfaces nearby allow each textile to remain distinct.
