The Claude stool by Gabrielle Paris combines an enveloping polished 304L stainless steel frame with an olive corduroy upholstered seat and high-resilience foam. Its 70 cm length defines a compact piece, suitable as a spacious individual seat or as a support in passageways. It is manufactured in Portugal.

Why we chose this stool

We are interested in the contrast between the reflection of the steel and the matte depth of the corduroy. The structure maintains a sculptural presence, but its compact format allows it to be used in spaces where an armchair or a longer bench would be excessive.

How to integrate it

It can be placed in a hallway, at the foot of a bed, next to a side table or as an additional seat in the living room. Olive corduroy combines particularly well with walnut, oak, cream tones and mineral materials.
