Asterisque is the space where Estefanía, the artist behind these pieces, unleashes her imagination. Through her dreams, she visualizes invented phrases, unreal landscapes, unfamiliar colors, and undiscovered textures, all of which she captures in her ceramic creations. Like the asterisk, a symbol that suggests the hypothetical and the unattainable, Asterisque celebrates what is not, what could be, and what remains to be discovered.
Her creative process began on the shores of the Spanish Mediterranean and took her to unique locations such as Cabo de Gata in Almería, where she found inspiration in the rugged landscape and wind-swept fossil dunes. Each piece is a way of exploring the world, a reflection of the artist's deep connection with her surroundings.
