Unglazed straw clay sculptural vase

This unglazed straw clay sculptural vase is shaped by hand, low fired and left with a natural finish. Fibres remain integrated into the surface, reinforcing its organic texture. Measuring 25 × 22 × 22 cm, its rounded volume has enough presence to stand without contents.

Why we chose this vase

We selected it for its direct material quality, which keeps the construction process visible. Its warm tone works with wood, linen, stone and mineral plaster, and brings contrast to more restrained compositions. It can hold dried branches or be displayed as a sculptural object on a table, console or shelf. As it is unglazed, it is intended as a decorative object for interior use.

About Marta Bonilla

Marta Bonilla designs and creates her pieces in her Barcelona studio. Working by hand, she allows the material to retain its natural character and the traces of the making process.
