Navy blue ceramic table lamp

This navy blue ceramic table lamp is shaped by hand in stoneware and finished with a nuanced matte glaze. The sepia parchment shade filters the light softly, while the off-white textile cable and brass details complete the composition. It measures 44 × 34 × 30 cm including the shade.

Why we chose this table lamp

We were drawn to the contrast between the depth of the blue, the warmth of the parchment and the restrained gleam of the brass. The base reads as sculpture even when the lamp is switched off, and its scale suits a console, a side table or a bedside table. It is made to order and wired for the country in which it will be used.

Marta Bonilla designs and creates her pieces in her Barcelona studio. Working by hand, she allows the material to retain its natural character and the traces of the making process.
