Description
This handmade cotton and linen rug combines the richness of handcrafted textiles with a serene, easy-to-integrate presence. The fiber blend creates subtle changes in texture and a less rigid drape than an industrial rug, while the fringes and visible seams retain the imprint of the loom. The multicolored composition adds depth without imposing a single color scheme on the rest of the room.
It can be used to define a living area, complement a bed, or provide continuity in a hallway, depending on its proportions. It works particularly well with wood, ceramics, rattan, aged leather, and natural textiles. As with Lorena Canals' handcrafted pieces, each unit may have slight differences in tone, height, and outline. These variations are not defects: they are part of the process and make the surface feel alive. It is advisable to follow the care instructions included in the technical meta field to preserve the fiber and finish.
Why we chose this rug
We chose it because it combines color, material, and tradition without being excessive. We are interested in its ability to bring together furniture and objects from different eras and to provide a lived-in home feeling from the very first moment. It is a warm and expressive base, yet flexible enough to evolve with the decor.
