About Asterisk
Asterisque is the space where Estefanía, the creator of this piece, imagines through her dreams invented phrases, images from other worlds, unreal colors, and textures yet to be discovered, which she slowly transforms into ceramic pieces that recreate her personal universe. Like the asterisk, a symbol that indicates the hypothetical, the impossible, the incorrect, or the nonexistent, the artist finds authentic beauty in these characteristics of words, images, shapes, people, and, of course, herself.
Her journey began on the shores of the Spanish Mediterranean and has taken her to unusual places, such as Cabo de Gata in Almería, where she found peace surrounded by fossil dunes caressed by the Mediterranean wind. Each piece is a constant exploration of nature, shapes, and landscapes, a reflection of her deep connection with her surroundings.
