Handmade Rectangular River Stone Sink

This handmade rectangular river stone sink leverages the elongated shape of the stone to create a horizontal, solid, and serene presence on the countertop. The material retains natural variations in tone, texture, and contour, so each unit maintains a direct relationship with the river stone from which it originated. The grey-brown nuances integrate with neutral palettes and materials such as wood, lime, microcement, or aged metal. The rectangular proportion is especially suitable when the vanity has sufficient length and an architectural rather than an ornamental gesture is desired. Its natural finish avoids industrial uniformity, allowing small irregularities, veins, and marks in the material to be a visible part of the whole.
