This yellow wool rug with a thick pile introduces a visibly generous surface framed by a more restrained woven edge. In Tactura Nest, light brings out different nuances within a single field of colour. Handcraft allows texture to carry the design, so its interest does not depend on a figure or print applied across the surface of the rug.

Why we chose this rug

We chose it for the relationship between the abundant pile and the controlled perimeter. In a reading area it can accompany a simple armchair and an oak table; in front of a pale sofa, it adds a warm note that brings the arrangement together. Leaving some surface uncovered reveals the textural change between the centre and the border.
