This hand-knotted moss green wool rug organises the floor through lines and colour fields that suggest an architectural composition. Designed by Norm Architects, Drift Line brings a restrained block of colour together with fine marks that guide the eye without filling the room with pattern. Hand knotting and hand-carded wool give the surface subtle variation, especially noticeable in light coming from the side.

Why we chose this rug

We chose it because it can define a conversation area with just a chair, a low table and space around them. Its asymmetric composition works with walnut as well as pale stone. Leave part of the colour field uncovered so that the furniture does not conceal the main gesture and the balance of the design remains visible.
